First-ever 2024 E-Ray Corvette to be auctioned off

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.-The Corvette, which every one is made right here in Bowling Green, continues to evolve.

The 2024 Chevy Corvette E-Ray is the first ever hybrid-powered, all-wheel drive Corvette. The car will be available for order later on in the year.

But for one lucky person they’ll be able to get behind the wheel of the E-Ray sooner. The first ever retail production 2024 Corvette E-Ray will be auctioned off in April in Florida.

100% of the proceeds will go to the non profit, DonorsChoose, which benefits classroom projects in public schools.

“Corvette’s always been a head-turner, it’s always been the car that got everybody’s attention. When it’s on the cover of a magazine they sell more magazines. and to bring more attention to these charities through the auction of Corvette is just a great thing all the way around for everybody,” said Curator of Collections and Exhibits Manager Bob Bubnis.

It’s the quickest Corvette ever made…going from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 2.5 seconds.
