1. Odenton Volunteer Fire Company Carnival

  • What: This carnival will have rides, games, food, and fun for the whole family! There will be ride bracelets as well as individual ride tickets for sale. We will have a Memorial Day ceremony by our Honor Guard at 5 PM on May 29th. Don’t miss this annual tradition. 
  • When: May 23-29, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm daily

2. Crofton Farmers Market

  • What: The Crofton Farmers Market is Anne Arundel County’s largest farmers market with over 50 confirmed vendors. The Crofton Farmers Market offers an assortment of produce, meats, dairy, breads, flowers, specialty foods, collectibles and crafts every Saturday from 8am–12pm (Weather Permitting). We are excited to be in our new location at the Crofton Library located at 1681 Riedel Rd, Crofton, MD 21114.

3.   Bowie Memorial Day Parade

  • What: The City of Bowie's Memorial Day Parade is organized as a way to recognize members of the Armed Services, past and present, and to honor the memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country.
    This popular patriotic event features an entertaining variety of marching bands, performing groups, floats, and local clubs and organizations.

4. Bowie Farmers Market

  • What:  The Bowie Farmers’ Market runs Sundays from late May through October each year. Market patrons can find a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables, breads and baked goods, beef and goat meat, fresh cut flowers, and bedding plants for sale at the market along with handmade crafts. 
  • When:  8 a.m. to noon.

5. Sunday Sunset Concerts @ Allen pond Park

  • What:  Join us every Sunday evening from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend for a concert in the park. Concerts are free and begin at 7 p.m. and last one hour.
