Deion Sanders' No. 1 ranked transfer class has come from near and far, but there is one transfer that is already catching the attention of Colorado fans.
Wide receiver Javon Antonio who stands in at a whopping 6-foot-4 and transferred to Colorado via Northwestern State where he was Southland All-Conference, is already showcasing the size mismatch he can be. In a video released by Well Off Media, Antonio's strength, route running, and ability to separate were all put on display.
Antonio is looking to carve out a role for himself, as the Buffs have one of the most talent rich wide receiver rooms in the Pac-12 headlined by Travis Hunter , Jimmy Horn Jr., and Xavier Weaver. Sean Lewis' offenses historically lean on around four receivers, which means that guys such as Antonio, Baylor transfer Jaylen Ellis, Auburn transfer Tar'varish Dawson, and incoming freshmen Omarion Miller and Adam Hopkins will all be vying to be in the rotation.
The position battles are only beginning to start, but if Antonio continues to prove to be a mismatch he could help solidify a spot by the time fall camp rolls around.
