Local veterans are getting a helping hand to honor their service this Memorial Day Weekend.

Palm Henderson Mortuary & Cemetery honored fallen heroes of the U.S. Armed Forces during its second annual ceremony on Friday.

The program included a color guard presenting colors, a flyover by the Boulder City Veterans Pilot Group, and a veteran resource information fair.

Veterans and families had the opportunity to connect with local organizations and access helpful tools.

The event aims to honor the lives lost while supporting the men and women who came home.
