SPD K-9 helps capture suspect in car theft, chase
SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – A Shreveport Police K-9 helped track down a suspect who allegedly stole a car and led police on a chase Friday. According to the SPD, officers tried to stop a vehicle they determined was stolen at the intersection of Milam St. and Hearne Ave. around 8:30 p.m. The driver, Patrick Williams, reportedly fled, leading the officers on a chase.

Caddo coroner identifies pedestrian killed on North Market
SHREVEPORT, La. -- A man killed crossing North Market Street in the Agurs neighborhood late Sunday has been identified by the Caddo Parish Coroner's office. Donald Bradford, 46, of Springhill, was hit by several vehicles while crossing in the 1900 block of the multi-lane highway around 8:50 p.m. He was taken to Ochsner LSU Health hospital, where he died at 9:15 p.m.

Shreveport rising high school senior killed in wreck Friday
A Shreveport teen was killed in a wreck near the Port of Caddo-Bossier Friday afternoon. Captain Shreve student Cole Moore, 16, died when the northbound Camaro he was driving on Louisiana Highway 1 just before 3:50 p.m. struck an eighteen-wheeler turning east into the port at Ron Bean Boulevard. Moore died at the scene.
