Tacoma Humane waives adoption fees after accepting 500 pets in 2 weeks
TACOMA, Wash. — Anyone in Pierce County or the surrounding western Washington area who is looking to adopt a new pet got some good news Wednesday. The Humane Society for Tacoma and Pierce County announced that it is waiving adoption fees for adult dogs, adult cats and all critters through Sunday, June 16, due to kennel capacity.

TACOMA, Wash. - The Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium welcomed six new penguin chicks last month, and they are almost ready to make their debut. The zoo reports that the chicks hatched successfully in May and are being raised by their parents with support from the zookeepers and veterinary staff.
