Missing St. Francois County Woman Found Deceased in Shannon County
(Shannon County) A woman from St. Francois County, who was reported missing, almost a month ago, has been found deceased in another county. A news release from the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Leadington Police Department announced on Friday the discovery of human remains, identified as 32-year-old Melinda Louise Wilkinson of Leadington.
St. Francois County Thursday Crash
(St. Francois County, MO) A woman from Potosi, 75 year old Pamela R. Hampton, is suffering serious injuries after a two car wreck in St. Francois County Thursday afternoon at 3:40. According to Highway Patrol reports a car driven east, on southbound Highway 67, by 27 year old Nathan D. Becker of Bonne Terre, was stopped in traffic on Berry Road. A car driven south on Highway 67 by 76 year old Gloria J. Seaton of Bismarck was in the second lane when Becker attempted to cross Highway 67 pulling into the path of Seaton's car. The two cars collided and Seaton's vehicle crossed the median stopping in the north bound lanes of Highway 67. Becker's car came to rest in the southbound lanes. Hampton, who was a passenger in Seaton's car, was flown to Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis while Seaton, who was moderately injured, was taken to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis. Becker received minor injuries and was taken to Parkland Health Center North at Bonne Terre. Everyone was wearing a seat belt when the wreck occurred.
New York Man Arrested in Potosi
(Farmington, MO) A man from New York, Theo D. Cooke, has a bond reduction hearing next Tuesday in St. Francois County court after he was arrested on one count of Stealing, Or Attempting To Steal, From a Financial Institution, six counts of forgery, and two counts of Identity Theft or Attempted Identity Theft, 1st Offense. Cooke is accused of applying for a $70,000 automobile loan, with Belgrade State Bank, online using the identification information of someone from California. According to reports Cooke had applied for the loan May 9th. He was arrested May 23rd at Belgrade State Bank in Potosi. It's alleged Cooke was using the identity of a California Dental Surgeon. He's being held on a cash only bond of $250,000.
Suspect Still Loose After Chase
(Park Hills, MO) A female theft suspect, and a possible accomplice, are still on the run after a high speed chase this afternoon. The chase began as Park Hills Police were involved in a theft investigation. The female suspect was spotted in a white Honda Civic hatchback. A male was driving when police attempted to pull the vehicle over. The driver didn't stop yet began to outrun police at a high rate of speed. The chase made it's way into downtown Bonne Terre and headed west out Highway 47. Park Hills Police Chief, Richard McFarland, told KFMO B104 News he called off the chase as cars were reaching high rates of speed during a time of day when traffic is busy near the entrance to Terre Du Lac. If you have any information on the whereabouts of the white Honda Civic Hatchback involved in today's high speed chase through Bonne Terre contact Park Hills Police or your local law enforcement authorities. Names of the suspects cannot be released now as this is an ongoing investigation.

Farmington Man Dies in Crash
(Reynolds County, MO) A man from Farmington, 24 year old Zachiriah A. Hahn, is dead after he was involved in a one vehicle accident in Reynolds County Sunday afternoon at 3:17 pm. Highway Patrol records show Hahn was a passenger in a pick up driven east on Highway K, 13 miles east of Ellington by 24 year old Tanner M. Murphy of Park Hills. The truck ran off the right side of the highway. Murphy overcorrected and the truck crashed into an embankment and rolled over. Hahn was pronounced dead at the scene. Murphy was moderately injured and was taken to Iron County Medical Center. Neither Hahn nor Murphy was wearing a safety device when the wreck occurred.

Washington County Saturday Crash
(Washington County, MO) A man from Bourbon, 45 year old William A. Bergner, is suffering serious injuries after he was hurt in a motorcycle crash in Washington County Saturday evening just before 7 o'clock. Highway Patrol Troopers say Bergner was riding his motorcycle east on Route EE, south of Highway 185, when he lost control of the bike in a curve to the left. The motorcycle ran off the right side of the highway, struck a guardrail, and rolled over. Bergner was transported to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis. Reports indicate Bergner was wearing a helmet when the wreck took place.

Pfaff was the driver of a 2015 GMC Arcadia which was heading north on Route O when a southbound 2021 Ford Ecosport driven by Marie A. JEFFERSON CITY — The Missouri State Highway Patrol has released its latest reports. 45-year-old Johnny R. Shoopman of Bonne Terre at 4:17 p.m. Thursday in Ste. Genevieve County on a Jefferson County warrant for failing to appear on charges of no insurance and failure to register a vehicle and on a charge of driving while revoked. He was being held in the Ste. Genevieve County Jail.
Man severely cuts his arm while apparently trying to slash tire outside Arnold hotel
Arnold Police reported that a 40-year-old Farmington severely cut his own arm while apparently trying to slash the tire on his girlfriend’s 2020 Chevrolet Trax outside the WoodSpring Suites hotel, 888 Arnold Commons Drive. The girlfriend, a 37-year-old Festus woman, told police she and her boyfriend had been arguing and he has a history of slashing her tires when they argue, the report said.

Crawford County man seriously injured in motorcycle wreck in eastern Missouri
A Crawford County man is seriously injured when he wrecks his motorcycle in eastern Missouri. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports William Bergner, 45, of Bourbon, was riding his bike on Route EE in Washington County on Saturday night when he lost control in a curve. The patrol says Bergner’s bike traveled off the road, struck a guardrail, then overturned.
