Man killed in Charles Mix County crash identified
CHARLES MIX COUNTY, S.D. (KELO) – -The 43-year-old killed Friday morning in a crash near Academy, South Dakota has been identified. The Department of Public Safety says Nicholas J. Doney was driving westbound on South Dakota Highway 50. Doney failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and entered the ditch where the vehicle vaulted over a driveway and rolled. Doney was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported to a nearby health center where he was pronounced dead.
