Pedestrian dies to blunt force injuries after being struck by vehicle in Boise

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) —
At 9:26 p.m. on June 2, the Ada County Coroner’s Office was dispatched to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.

A pedestrian, 37-year-old Elizabeth Sorg of Boise, was struck by a vehicle at approximately 9:14 p.m. on the 700 block of W. Poplar St. She was pronounced dead at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center at 9:42 p.m. after lifesaving measures were unsuccessful.
A report from the Ada County Coroner's Office says the manner of death was Homicide, and the cause was blunt force injuries.

The investigation is being conducted by Boise City Police Department.
