The Florida Atlantic University Owls practiced for the final time in Boca Raton Tuesday ahead of their first-ever Final Four match this weekend.The team said it was nice to be home after being gone for more than a week.The latest: Sports coverage from WPBF 25 NewsWith so much media attention, FAU men's basketball head coach Dusty May said the team's 20-game winning streak prepared them for the spotlight."This year was an anomaly from past several years," May said. "A lot of media attention during the two-game winning streak, observing players how they respond, these guys work harder, more focused and determined to do what they are doing. I would be shocked if there's any moment that is too big for our guys. They put in the work and the preparation is impeccable."The FAU players like to call themselves a group of brothers - no ego, just support for one another."I feel like we are the most together team in the county - why we are the way we are right now," said FAU Guard Nick Boyd. "I think our ability to hold each other accountable and not take things personal goes a long way."That attention included a lot more cameras at Tuesday's practice. "We never looked for outside attention and support, but we love it," said May. "It's different and we handle it well."
