    Damaged fibers cause Spectrum outages in Tri-Cities

    UPDATE: A Charter spokesperson said service was restored Tuesday night.


    BLOUNTVILLE, Tenn. (WJHL) — Damaged fibers on a utility pole in Blountville have caused Spectrum outages throughout the Tri-Cities area.

    A spokesperson for Charter Communications confirmed to News Channel 11 that damaged fiber on a utility pole in Blountville has caused a service outage for several customers.

    The damage occurred Monday afternoon, the spokesperson said.

    JCPD: Juvenile arrested after armed carjacking

    The spokesperson said that technicians are replacing the fibers and continuing to work to bring services back online as quickly as possible.

    Services are anticipated to be restored by the late afternoon on Tuesday.
