The City is proposing the creation of two designated parking districts, the Old Town and the Downtown Parking District, with the goal of making parking more predictable, improving turnover in high-demand areas, and making it easier for customers and visitors to find convenient short-term parking. The proposal is intended to address what the City refers to as the “parking shuffle,” when vehicles remain in high-demand on-street spaces for extended periods or move from one nearby space to another to continue parking within the same area.

Fortuna Union High School’s Superintendent Says It’s Too Dangerous for School Buses to Travel Through the Highway 36 Landslide Area; Bridgeville Parents Are Urging Him to Reconsider
