DUBLIN – The Brownwood Lady Lions came up short in the championship game of the Dublin tournament Saturday, as their three-game win streak by snapped by Comanche, 57-39. The Lady Lions (9-4) fell behind 18-14 after one quarter, trailed 31-23 at halftime, and faced a 42-34 deficit after three periods of play.

TUSCOLA – The Brownwood Lady Lions and Lions both dropped games at Jim Ned Tuesday night in their first action since before Thanksgiving. The Lady Lions fell to the Class 3A No. 2 Lady Indians 61-13 as Brownwood converted just 4 of 32 field goal attempts (12 percent) Tuesday and none of their 16 three-point tries.
