ATOKA COUNTY – A single-vehicle accident on Monday morning resulted in six young people being injured. A 17-year-old female (no names were released) from Lane, Okla., was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe on Carr Penn Road at about 10:15 a.m. approximately four miles west of Atoka, according to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. She was traveling northbound and lost control of the vehicle, departed the roadway to the left, struck a cement culvert, then struck a tree and rolled 3/4 times, coming to a rest on the passenger side.
