Man and woman found dead from gunshot wounds in Blaine parking lot

A man and a woman were found dead in a Blaine parking lot having suffered suspected gunshot wounds at Wednesday lunchtime.

Blaine police officers received a report of two unconscious people in a vehicle parking in a lot near the 10700 block of Town Square Drive Northeast around noon, and arrived to find the two victims dead.

"Currently, law enforcement is not looking for any suspects and there is no known threat to the public," the Anoka County Sheriff's Office.

With police not looking for any suspects, it suggests that the incident was possibly a murder suicide, but nothing official has been confirmed at this time.

An investigation continues, with the names of the deceased due to be released at a later time by the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office.
