Arrest made in deadly shootout involving more than 90 rounds of gunfire
Police have made an arrest in the shooting death of a man in the Kingston community on Memorial Day.
Jaundarius Woods, 43, was killed just after 8 p.m. on 44th Place North during what police believe was a shootout.

ShotSpotter picked up more than 90 rounds of gunfire, according to the Birmingham Police Department.
"We're talking 10 rounds, 15 rounds, eight rounds, 20 rounds, 14 rounds, six rounds, all being fired in succession," said Birmingham Police Department Public Information Officer Truman Fitzgerald.
Police identified Demarco Griffin, 26, of Birmingham as a suspect and issued a warrant for his arrest.
A patrol officer spotted his vehicle on Friday at an apartment complex in east Birmingham. Crime Reduction Team officers responded to the apartment complex and took Griffin into custody without incident.

Griffin is being held in the Jefferson County Jail with no bond on a murder charge.
