Birmingham Police investigating homicide in NE Birmingham
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - UPDATE: East Precinct officers responded to a report of a burned body in the 200 block of Sellers Road.
Officers and Birmingham Fire and Rescue arrived on scene and found what is believed to be an adult female.
Officials observed signs of trauma on the victim during the preliminary investigation.
The Jefferson County Medical Examiners Office will perform an autopsy to determine the events leading up to the death of the victim.
