UAB Announces Game Times for First Three Contests of 2023

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB football team will play its first three games of the 2023 season under the lights, with all three of those contests airing on ESPN+.
 
The Blazers open the season against North Carolina A&T at 7 p.m. CT on Thursday night, Aug. 31 at Protective Stadium. UAB is on the road for a Week 2 matchup at Georgia Southern which will kick at 6 p.m. ET/5 p.m. CT.
 
UAB then returns home for its third game of the season against another Sun Belt opponent, Louisiana, which is slated for 6 p.m. CT at Protective Stadium.
 
UAB's remaining game times and TV selections will be announced in the 12-day window throughout the season, except for UAB's game at Navy on Veteran's Day which is set for 3:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. CT on CBS Sports Network.
