Dry weather and lower humidity continue for Memorial Day

Dry weather and lower humidity continue for Memorial Day
WE ARE STARTING OFF COMFORTABLY COOL AGAIN THIS MORNING. POLLEN COUNT WILL BE ON THE LOAD AND MEDIUM RANGE FOR THE THE WEEK AHEAD AS OUR RAIN CHANCES START TO CLIMB A LITTLE BIT ON WEDNESDAY AND WE GET A FEW OF THOSE HIT OR MISS THUNDERSTORMS. IT LOOKS LIKE IT’LL DROP AGAIN ON THURSDAY. 57 DEGREES WITH CLEAR SKIES, PLENTY OF SUNSHINE TO START OFF WITH HERE IN BIRMINGHAM. YOU CAN SEE OUR SKYCAM SHOT FROM REGIONS FIELD, BUT A LITTLE BIT CHILLIER, THOUGH, IN NORTH ALABAMA WHERE WE’VE GOT SOME LOW IN MID 50S 55 AND GADSDEN, 52 IN HALEYVILLE CLOSE TO 60 IN TUSCALOOSA AND THEN AS YOU GO DOWN INTO SHELBY COUNTY, SOME LOW 60S THERE, WE HAD JUST A HANDFUL OF STORMS AROUND YESTERDAY. WE HAD ONE IN SHELBY COUNTY. AND SO WHERE WE DID GET A LITTLE BIT OF RAIN YESTERDAY AFTERNOON OR YESTERDAY EVENING, THERE MAY BE A FEW FOGGY SPOTS, BUT IT CERTAINLY NOT NOT WIDESPREAD. AND VISIBILITY SHOULD IMPROVE PRETTY QUICKLY. IF YOU ARE SEEING SOME FOG THIS MORNING, BY NOON, MID-SEVENTIES EXPECTED CLOSE TO 80 AT 3:00. AND THEN TEMPERATURES STARTING TO DROP INTO THE LOW AND MID 70S. IF WE DO SEE A SPOTTY SHOWER TODAY, I THINK IT WOULD BE MAINLY CONFINED TO NORTH AND NORTHEAST ALABAMA. MAYBE PLACES LIKE ETOWAH, CHEROKEE, DEKALB COUNTIES, MARSHALL COUNTY. YOU CAN SEE MOST SPOTS ON THE SATELLITE VIEW ARE RAIN FREE. AND WE’RE GOING TO JUMP AHEAD A COUPLE OF DAYS. AS I MENTIONED TODAY, I THINK MOST SPOTS WILL STAY DRY TOMORROW. I COULD SEE A FEW SPOTTY SHOWERS OR STORMS AROUND, BUT BY WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY, COVERAGE WILL BE A LITTLE BIT GREATER. THEY WILL STILL BE HIT OR MISS AND I THINK MORE OF US WON’T SEE RAIN THEN DO SEE RAIN HEADING INTO WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. BUT YOU CAN SEE AT LEAST A FEW STORMS ON THE ON THE FUTURECAST FOR THAT TIME FRAME. SO MAINLY RAIN FREE TODAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, WE’LL START TO SEE THOSE RAIN CHANCES GRADUALLY INCREASING AS OUR HUMIDITY STARTS TO INCREASE AND OUR TEMPERATURES START TO GET CLOSER TO NORMAL. TOMORROW AND THEN A BIT ABOVE NORMAL, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY. AND THEN YOU GUYS, WE ARE FLIRTING WITH NINE DAYS. SO NEXT WEEKEND IS GOING TO FEEL QUITE A BIT DIFFERENT. BA
