Man shot and killed in Birmingham Tuesday afternoon

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Birmingham Police are investigating the shooting death of a Bessemer man.
On Wednesday, the Jefferson County Coroner’s office confirmed the victim to be 48 year old Michael Kimbrough.
The deadly shooting happened just before 1 p.m. in the 5900 block of Jesse Owens Avenue March 21.
Officer Truman Fitzgerald with Birmingham Police said Kimbrough was found lying in the road by West Precinct Officers.
No arrests have been made.
