Beau Rivage relinquishes naming rights of MGM Park to City of Biloxi

The Biloxi Shuckers baseball stadium might be donning a new name in the future.

Beau Rivage is giving the name rights to MGM Park back to the City of Biloxi.

After attracting national attention because of the MGM Park name, Beau Rivage President Brandon Dardeau says he sees this move as a way to help the city pay for some of the operating costs for the stadium.

This move will allow Biloxi to monetize the stadium name and garner more revenue for several years to come. MGM Resorts International VP Legal Counsel Anthony Del Vescovo said, “In addition to the naming rights, we also visited the opportunity to give them the parking garage. With our business changing from a drive-in market to more of a fly in market, it opened up a lot of spots in our parking garage where we were able to transfer our employees back into our parking garage.”

It’s Beau Rivage Night at the Shuckers game tomorrow night. If you go, you’ll get a sneak peek at the world-famous Jabbawockeez dance crew. They’ll be performing at Beau Rivage in July.
