Several East Texas animal shelters receive grants from MuttNation, PetCo Love
EAST TEXAS, Texas (KLTV) - Several animal rescue groups and shelters have received grants from Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation and PetCo Love. PetCo Love granted Longview Care and Adoption Center $15,000 in support of their lifesaving work for animals in Longview. Petco Love is a national nonprofit leading change for pets by harnessing the power of love to make communities and pet families closer, stronger, and healthier.

STEPHENVILLE, Texas (KLTV) - Former Lindale Eagle Mason Hammonds scored three times and had three hits in Tarleton’s doublheader split with Utah Valley on Saturday. Batting leadoff and starting at third base, the senior was 0-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored in the first game, which Tarleton lost, 11-7. Hammonds walked in the third inning and scored on a home run. In the seventh inning, Hammonds was hit by a pitch and scored on a single.
