At 65 years old, Laurie Porter stays very active in her community of Big Bear Lake, teaching ski lessons at Snow Summit Resort, and volunteering for “citizens on patrol” to keep her mountain neighbors safe. She is a military veteran, a cancer survivor, and was a finalist for 2023’s Remarkable Women Award. KTLA’s Courtney Friel reports.
