Berlin woman dies in crash with tractor-trailer on Route 113

A Berlin woman died Saturday in a crash with a tractor-trailer on Route 113 in Berlin, Maryland State Police said.

Police said Linda Brown, 69, was declared dead at the scene of the crash March 18 at around 3:30 p.m. on northbound Route 113 at Georgetown Road in Berlin.

Brown, who was driving a Toyota Tacoma west on Georgetown Road, attempted to cross the northbound lanes of Route 113 when she collided with a tractor-trailer driving northbound on Route 113, police said

The driver of the Volvo truck is identified as Marius Bouw, 72, of Arapahoe, North Carolina. Bouw was not injured, police said.

 An investigation into the crash is continuing, police said.
