Berks/Lancaster-Lebanon roster named for Carpenter Cup baseball tournament
Jun. 5—Seventeen Berks County high school players are on the 25-man roster for the Berks/Lancaster-Lebanon League team that will participate in 37th annual Carpenter Cup Classic, which is hosted by the Philadelphia Phillies and begins June 12 at FDR Park in Philadelphia.
The 15-game tournament features teams from high school leagues in the Philadelphia area, and is single elimination.
Berks/Lancaster-Lebanon opens against Delaware North on Tuesday, June 13, at 4 p.m. at UYA Showcase Field in FDR Park.
