BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – Berkeley County Animal Center is currently caring for a dog found chained to a tree in the woods with no food, water or shelter.
The person who found the dog immediately brought her to the center, BAC workers said Thursday.
“Willow has quickly become a staff favorite. Not only for her story of survival but for her loving eyes and darling personality,” the center posted to Facebook.
According to BAC, Willow is 3 years old and weighs 35 pounds. She is currently at the shelter and in need of a loving foster home.
“All she wants to do is love and be loved. She loves giving kisses and cannot get enough cuddles. You would never know that someone chained her to a tree and left her for dead in the woods. She is a survivor.”
Anyone interested in fostering Willow is asked to email Tiffany Hoffman at [email protected] or stop by 131 Central Berkeley Dr. in Moncks Corner between 1 p.m.-5p.m. on Tuesday-Saturday to meet her.
