Fondue franchise The Melting Pot coming to Bentonville

BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Fondue restaurant The Melting Pot is headed to Bentonville.

According to a press release, Chad Hickerson and his wife Candice Bright and mother-in-law, Diana Bonnett signed an agreement to open the first Melting Pot location in Arkansas.

“We’ve been long-time Melting Pot guests. It’s a product that we all love and believe in, and it’s
something that’s particularly suited for the Bentonville area,” said Hickerson. “Our goal is to
bring something unique to the Northwest Arkansas area. We want to deliver a quality food and
dining experience that will quickly become a hallmark of special occasions and even routine
enjoyment for countless individuals, couples and families in the region and beyond.”

The Melting Pot was founded in 1975 and offers a “unique fondue dining experience,” according to the release. It now has 92 locations in the United States and Canada. It plans to open 125 locations by 2026.

The release says the restaurant is known for offering a variety of fondue cooking styles and unique entrées. It features cheese fondues, salads, fine wines, spirits and chocolate fondue desserts.

The release does not say when the Bentonville location is planned to open.
