BENTON HARBOR, Mich. (WSBT) —
Some city buildings in Benton Harbor are being renamed.

The Benton Harbor Police Department and Fire Department will now have new names.
Officials voted to rename the Police Department building the "Andrew L Rodez Police Department" in honor of the city’s first Black police chief.
The Fire Department building will now be known as the "John Billups Fire Department" to honor the city’s first Black fire chief.
