Police in Belton, Missouri, are asking for the public's help to identify three suspects in photos taken of what investigators are calling an organized theft ring.
The suspects reportedly entered the Ulta Beauty store off Markey Parkway recently, quickly grabbed shopping baskets, loaded them with makeup and fragrance, then quickly left the store.
Police said the suspects made off with around $7,000 worth of merchandise in the Belton incident.
Police also said the same three suspects were reported for retail theft at the Ulta Beauty in Liberty, Missouri.
Police in Lawrence, Kansas, said on Tuesday that three suspects threw a brick through the front of an Ulta Beauty store there and stole thousands of dollars worth of merchandise.
There is no word yet on if the Lawrence incident is related to the Belton and Liberty thefts. However, Lawrence police said at the time that they "have reason to believe this is related to several similar incidents in the Kansas City metro area."
