Over the weekend, Bellevue West High School was buzzing with current, former and future college quarterbacks.
Warren Academy hosted its annual quarterback development camp with current college quarterbacks Cole Payton, Nate Glantz and Zane Flores as well as current Bellevue West and future Nebraska quarterback Daniel Kaelin serving as coaches.
The two-day event featured sessions for quarterbacks grades 4-8 and 9-12.
Flores, who enrolled early at Oklahoma State after leading Gretna to the 2022 Class A Championship Game, reminisced on attending camps like Warren Academy when he was growing up.
"I remember myself being out here doing camps like this, looking up to the older high school guys that helped out," Flores said. "I think that really made a big impact on me so for me to be in that position and help these younger guys is really cool."
The camp was run by former UNO and Winona State state quarterback John Teigland.
