A Redding man who police shot multiple times has been sentenced to nearly 20 years in prison for assaulting officers and threatening them with a knife. Cody Levi Bailey, 36, pleaded no contest in Shasta County Superior Court on Tuesday to assault with a deadly weapon, resisting arrest, exhibiting a deadly weapon and related charges during a run-in with police in Redding.
