Man who went missing in the Rio Grande found safe
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A man who went missing in the Rio Grande in southwest Albuquerque has been found safe. A spokesperson with Bernalillo County Fire Rescue says a group of people got separated and flipped their kayaks and canoes Tuesday evening in the Rio Grande near Rio Bravo Boulevard.
Belen store and restaurant picking up the pieces after robbery attempt
A popular store in Belen has been forced to close temporarily after a botched robbery attempt caused significant damage to the store on Sunday. The Road Runner Pit Stop and Fat Sats Bar and Grill is closed after would-be thieves tried to steal the ATM out of the building. Store co-owner Carlo Trujillo said the attempted theft may have caused structural damage to the building.
