May rainfall deficit erased, soaking rains have ended
Rain stalled over central Indiana late Tuesday and delivered staggering rainfall numbers in some locations. Entering the work week, there was a deficit in rainfall for the city of Indianapolis over one inch. That was easily erased as a slow-moving low pressure left rain to fall through the overnight hours and well into early Wednesday morning.
