Knights open season with win in Monticello
Mother Nature was mostly kind on April 10 when the St. Michael-Albertville girls’ golf team opened the season in Monticello. After both the boys and girls teams finished with less than 60 points each in a Mississippi 8 meet against Big Lake, Becker and Zimmerman on Tuesday, April 9, the Tigers rebounded for a pair of second-place finishes against Big Lake and Sauk Rapids-Rice on Thursday, April 11, at Princeton High School. Irish baseball starts season with losses
The Dassel-Cokato chargers claimed a three-run win over the Maple Lake Irish at Irish Stadium, Friday, April 12 in the home team’s first outing of the season. The Chargers started scoring with a single run in the first inning. They tacked on two more in the second before Maple Lake responded.
