The renewed display, part of the new permanent “Ride the Rails into Montana” train exhibit at the Depot, has been a labor of love for a team of volunteers. The original Depot train display was aging and needed to be redone — the base was falling apart, the glue was running dry and parts were coming loose. Museum officials decided it was time to fix the display, and the only way to do it was to start from the beginning.
