CHICAGO — Despite plenty of talk online about big cooldowns, above normal temperatures are expected to continue across much of the country for about the next 10 days. The Climate Prediction Center’s 6-10 day outlook for November 5 to 9 shows warmth covering nearly the entire Lower 48. Any cold fronts that do move through are expected to bring only brief cooldowns, lasting less than a day. Warm air is then expected to surge right back in.
