2h ago A Bay Shore man has been accused of committing multiple burglaries over the past few months.
Police say 42-year-old Francisco Maldonado attempted to burglarize Marinelli Jewelers in Eastport at around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday. He was arrested a short time later on Montauk Highway.
Authorities believe he is responsible for three other burglary incidents in Holtsville, Oakdale and Eastport.
During those incidents, police say Maldonado stole money, property and allegedly used a stolen credit card to make a purchase at the Home Depot in Deer Park.
