A man was shot and killed on Merganzer Avenue early Wednesday morning, Baton Rouge police said.
Eishmel Spears, 69, was shot shortly after 2:35 a.m. in the 9900 block of Merganzer Ave., police said on Facebook.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooter or shooters fled before police arrived.
