The Tigers had two games to get a victory on Monday and advance out of the Baton Rouge Regionals, but it only took one as LSU dispatched Oregon State 13-7 in the regional final.
The Tigers are now moving on to their 16th super regional in program history and the first since 2021. They will have to await the evening results on Monday to learn their opponent, which will either be No. 12 national seed Kentucky or Indiana.
Regardless of the opponent, that best-of-three series will be held at Alex Box Stadium next weekend.
With the Tigers moving on and now looking to advance to the College World Series for the first time since 2017, when they finished as the national runner-up, here’s how LSU Twitter reacted.
