An employee of a Popeyes on O'Neal Lane near Interstate 12 shot a co-worker who was taken to the hospital Wednesday night, Baton Rouge Police said.
The two employees got into a fight, and one of the workers shot the other around 10:30 p.m., a police spokesman said. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No arrests had been made as of Thursday evening.
