The memorial service for Baton Rouge police officers, Sgt. David Poirrier and Cpl. Scotty Canezaro, will be held on Thurs., April 6 at Istrouma Baptist Church, the police department said.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., with the service beginning at 11 a.m., at the church at 10500 Sam Rushing Drive.
The officers died on March 26, when their helicopter went down in West Baton Rouge Parish, as they assisted with a police pursuit.
