Over the past several months, LSU Tigers gymnast Olivia Dunne has emerged as the most famous and highest-paid female athlete in all of college sports thanks to her massive social media following. Naturally, she’s become quite a role model for those looking to follow in her footsteps, and she’s willing to help out the next generation of student-athlete.
This week, Olivia Dunne went to her Snapchat to answer some questions from fans. One fan asked her what advice she would give to a future student-athlete, and Dunne gave quite a helpful yet simple response to the question.
“1. find a balance between school, sports, and a social life and try to stick to a routine,” she said in response, according to Fox News. “2. On ur off days take time to rest and do things you enjoy outside of your sport. 3. Eat properly because it can be a long day.”
As for Dunne’s athletic season, her LSU Tigers earned the No. 2 seed in the Denver Regional where they will look to secure a spot in the NCAA Gymnastics Championships. This comes after the squad posted an 8-5 record during the regular season and earned a third-place finish at the SEC conference championships.
Dunne had her best performance of the season on the parallel bars during the SEC Championship meet, we’ll have to see how she performs at the NCAA Regional.
