MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two local restaurant chains are expanding to the Bartlett area, according to the City of Bartlett.

The first restaurant is Maciel’s Tortas Tacos, which serves Mexican-styled food. They had two previous locations in Midtown and downtown.

Maciel’s now has a third store that just opened Monday at 3108 North Germantown Parkway. They offer both dine-in and takeout options.

Belly Acres is set to make its debut in the Bartlett area by 2026. This family-friendly burger joint is a part of Bartlett’s $162 million Union Depot mixed-use project.

The restaurant will be housed in a new 5,500-square-foot space at the old Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home on the ground floor of The Westerly.

“We wanted it to be kid-friendly. We didn’t want a restaurant that would be bar-heavy with a bunch of alcohol,” said Barry Maynard, Gill Properties senior vice president.

Belly Acres has one location open on Poplar Avenue. The restaurant is also coming soon to the Southaven area at Silo Square on Getwell Road.
