Section of Old Bowling Green Road closed due to crash

GLASGOW, Ky. – A portion of Old Bowling Green Road in Barren County is currently closed due to a wreck, officials say.

According to Glasgow/Barren County Emergency Management, both lanes of Old Bowling Green Road between Veterans Outer Loop and Siddens Road are impacted by downed poles and power lines.

First responders are on scene, along with an area electric company.

No further details are available at this time. Emergency officials estimate the road will be closed for another three to four hours.

Drivers should seek an alternate route.
