Record-holders, talented freshmen and more: Shore's 15 girls lacrosse standouts Week No. 3

Girls lacrosse has been heating up so far this season.

Underclassmen have been stepping up, Barnegat has a new all-time scoring leader, and a lot of impressive performances in the Shore Conference. Here are 15 standouts from Jan. 15 to 21 that deserve recognition.

Talia Blum, Manasquan, Sr.

She's responsible for four goals in each of the two victories the Warriors had last week. At the end of the week she was two goals away from her 100th career score.

Chiara Donohue, Trinity Hall, Fr.

The freshman stuffed the stat sheet all last week for the Monarchs. In a win over Wall Monday she had three goals, one assist, three ground balls, six draw controls, and four forced turnovers. She also had three goals over Red Bank Catholic on Thursday.

Conley Smolokoff, Shore, Sr.

The Colgate University commit got her 100th point in a 14-4 win over Southern on Friday as she finished with two goals and one assist. She also had five goals and one assist in a win over Toms River North on Monday.

Daisen Iwan, Rumson-Fair Haven, Jr.

The Bulldogs had a rough week with back-to-back losses, but got back on track with a 17-6 win over Bridgewater-Raritan on Saturday. Iwan finished that game with five goals, one assist, and two forced turnovers.

Chloe Keating, Red Bank Regional, So.

The midfielder had four goals and two assists in a win over Colts Neck on Thursday and had two goals against Wall on Saturday. Both games were victories for the Bucs.

Anna Stumberger, Middletown South, So.

At the attack position, she scored five goals and had two assists in a win over crosstown rival Middletown North on Friday. Against Southern, she finished with three goals and two assists for the win.

Avery Smith, Southern, Jr.

The midfielder had two goals and one assist against Middletown South on Tuesday.

Makenna Graham, Red Bank Catholic, Sr.

She went off for seven goals and four assists to beat Lacey on Tuesday. That same game she also had four ground balls, five draw controls, and two forced turnovers.

Alyson Sojak, Barnegat, Sr.

The High Point University commit became the schools all-time leading scorer in her four goal performance over Central Tuesday. She's been a big part for the Bengals remaining unbeaten.

Grace Crowley, Toms River East, Jr.

She had five goals and one assist in a win over Jackson Liberty Wednesday. She had three goals, six ground balls, and four draw controls in a win over Point Pleasant Beach Friday.

Kayden Cliento, Point Pleasant Boro, Jr.

The midfielder had five goals and two assists in a win over Brick Memorial for a win on Saturday. She also had three goals and two assists Tuesday in a victory over Brick Township.

Madison Alcantara, Manalapan, So.

This past week she's scored seven goals in two games against Marlboro and Point Pleasant Beach which were both wins.

Sunny Betz, Holmdel, Fr.

The midfielder tied her season-high five goals in a win over St. Rose on Wednesday for the Hornets. She also had seven ground balls that game.

Gianna Dellasanti, Donovan Catholic, So.

She had two goals and six ground balls in a win over Manchester Township. She also finished with three goals in a win over Pinelands on Thursday.
