Deputies seek help in locating missing woman believed to be in Greater Bangor area

Officials believe Kristen Morse, 30, is likely in the Greater Bangor area, but she has also been known to frequent Boston, Massachusetts.

ORRINGTON, Maine — Shortly after 12 p.m. Thursday, the family of Kristen Morse, 30, contacted the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office and reported they had not heard from her since May 17, a release from the sheriff's office said.

Morse reportedly most recently lived on Johnson Mill Road in Orrington, but no longer lives there, according to the release.

Officials believe Morse is likely in the Greater Bangor area, but she has also been known to frequent Boston, Massachusetts.

The sheriff's office said it has now begun to look into the matter, and deputies have talked with acquaintances of Morse, who confirmed they last saw her as recently as Wednesday.

"Out of an abundance of caution, the Sheriff’s Office would still like to locate and speak to Kristen to verify her welfare," the release stated. "If you have any information as to the location of Kristen Morse, please notify the Sheriff's Office at [207]-947-4585."
