City firefighters responded to an intense two-alarm fire in Northwest Baltimore, according to the Baltimore City Fire Department.
Units on the scene were actively battling the fire in the 4000 block of Boarman Avenue during the early hours of Sunday morning.
Fire officials say suppression companies arrived on location to find a two-story brick, middle of the group dwelling heavily involved with fire and smoke conditions.
Water supplies were established and firefighters began an exterior attack to extinguish the fire. Due to the intensity of the fire would spread to adjacent dwellings the Incident Commander requested a second law of fire, bringing additional manpower and resources to the scene.
Fire officials say at present, there have been no reports of injured firefighters or civilians at this location.
