The City of Baltimore's youth curfew is in place, with subtle changes from the already-established juvenile curfew active in the city since 2016. Political commentator Armstrong Williams joined Fox 45 Morning News to discuss the differences between the two policies - including how officers interact with juveniles.
Williams said that he thinks the lack of police enforcement is dangerous to city residents.
"This is no curfew. This is a very dangerous situation, not only for volunteers, but it's a very dangerous situation for people who want law enforcement to protect themselves," said Williams.
He also questioned what the mayor's goal is with the new policy.
"Somebody needs to ask the mayor: what is it that you're really trying to accomplish... are you really trying to bring about a change?" said Williams.
