For those looking for a different way to celebrate an event, a new party boat has launched in Baltimore that offers scenic views around the Inner Harbor.The boats are at Harborview Marina and Yacht Club, where you can get onboard Paddle Club Baltimore, a new entertainment venue on the water.Best friends since preschool, Jack Maher and Jack Walten launched Sea Suite Cruises with party boats in Washington, D.C., and in Richmond, Virginia. In April, they began a Tiki Boat experience in Annapolis."I mean, it's the best. Getting to own and operate a business with your best friend and to have it be something where you're hosting parties out on the water, (you) can't really beat it," Maher saad.With the new pedal boat in Baltimore, there are 10 cycling stations on the boat where you pedal to operate the boat's paddle wheel in the back, or you can just enjoy a motorized ride."We go out for an hour and 45 minutes. It's basically your favorite booze cruise Baltimore," Walten said."We get to meet people from all different walks of life, all different ages, and just getting out and celebrating moments in there and making memories," Maher said. Prices range from $39 to $54 depending on the day of the week, and people can bring their own food and drinks, but no hard liquor."We are your cheaper option. We like to be your friend that has a boat," Walten said. "We see a lot of birthday parties, bachelor and bachelorette parties, a lot of corporate team outings during the week, and then, really anyone who just wants to get out on the water," Maher said.It's also a boat with a bathroom."We do have a bathroom on board.
