Two men were injured in separate shootings 16 minutes apart Tuesday afternoon, according to Baltimore City Police Department.
police say at around 5:23 p.m., officers were sent to the 1500 block of West North Avenue to investigate a report of a shooting.
Once there, officers found a 20-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body.
Medics took the victim to an area hospital for treatment of his injury.
16 minutes later, officers were sent to the 3500 block of Shannon Drive to investigate the report of a shooting.
Officers discovered a man shot multiple times, said the department.
Medics also took this victim to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Shooting detectives are investigating both acts of violence.
